LIVE STREAM WRITING SPRINTS — HOW THEY’RE HELPING NEW WRITERS

Writing sprints are short bursts of focused writing time that can be done alone or with a group”. Most commonly, these sprints are timed, specifically as pomodoro sprints. Writing sprints are helpful as they work as a trick of the mind due to the Hawthorne Effect in which they get more work is done with people around and being engaged and a positive reward system. AuthorTubers are big on this, such as Kate Cavanaugh, Brooke Passmore, etc. Regularly using writing sprints to complete your fiction work in segments is a well known practice at list point in time on YouTube and AuthorTube. Give them a try. I sometimes host them. You can find them on my channel here.
